18thc Caughley Sucrier and Cover
Rare 18thc Caughley Sucrier and cover in blue and white porcelain, featuring the two men on a bridge pattern, S mark to base. C1780-1795.Condition: Chip to inner rim of lid and some wear to gilding of rim of the bowl and to the lid, otherwise no other chips, cracks or or restoration. Please look carefully at all photos.
Early English Porcelain is never perfect, and you can expect to see small stress points and underglaze imperfections.

Delivery:
Smaller items that can be sent via a standard service will be posted at the rate applicable to the size and weight of the item. This will be shown at checkout. Porcelain and glass will be well packed and sent using a tracked service, hence will have higher postage cost than items of an equivalent weight.
All items can be collected in person if you prefer.
Furniture – please ask for a quote for delivery before purchase and choose “collection in person” at checkout. We charge £1 per mile for all miles incurred in the delivery, there and back. You are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect if preferred, but we will not be responsible for any damage in transit incurred with a courier that is not employed by us.
Before buying:
We always recommend that antiques are inspected in person prior to purchase but realise that this is not always possible for all customers. Therefore, please contact us if you would like any additional information, and we will be happy to provide any details.
Please carefully check dimensions of furniture before you buy to ensure that the item will fit into your home. We cannot be responsible for return costs for items that are too large or small for your space.
Returns:
While we do accept returns within 30 days of purchase, any problems must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. Unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit using a courier that we have arranged, we will not pay the costs of return. Please see above re “before buying” for furniture items – we will not accept a return of furniture unless you have satisfied these requirements.
