Antique wooden gilded standing Buddha 99cm high
Early 20thc Asian carved wooden figure depicting a tall standing Buddha, gilded and decorated with glass jewels, with hands spread apart at his side. He has been mounted on new wooden base for stability, but we have not made any alterations to the original figure
Condition - wear and tear is commensurate with age - some losses of gilding, old repair visible to the head, chip to the sleeve cuff on the left hand and some (stable) cracks. He has been mounted on new wooden base for stability, but we have not made any alterations or repairs to the original figure.

99cm high including new wooden base, original figure is 88 cm.

Delivery:
Smaller items that can be sent via a standard service will be posted at the rate applicable to the size and weight of the item. This will be shown at checkout. Porcelain and glass will be well packed and sent using a tracked service, hence will have higher postage cost than items of an equivalent weight.
All items can be collected in person if you prefer.
Furniture – please ask for a quote for delivery before purchase and choose “collection in person” at checkout. We charge £1 per mile for all miles incurred in the delivery, there and back. You are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect if preferred, but we will not be responsible for any damage in transit incurred with a courier that is not employed by us.
Before buying:
We always recommend that antiques are inspected in person prior to purchase but realise that this is not always possible for all customers. Therefore, please contact us if you would like any additional information, and we will be happy to provide any details.
Please carefully check dimensions of furniture before you buy to ensure that the item will fit into your home. We cannot be responsible for return costs for items that are too large or small for your space.
Returns:
While we do accept returns within 30 days of purchase, any problems must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. Unless the item is faulty or damaged in transit using a courier that we have arranged, we will not pay the costs of return. Please see above re “before buying” for furniture items – we will not accept a return of furniture unless you have satisfied these requirements.
